Dear reader(s),
I thank you for taking time out of your day to sit down and read words I typed onto a computer screen, in this day and age of overlooking the calligraphy I prefer. This story has definitely been a tough one to write, but a heartfelt one all the same. Writing a chapter each week has been difficult, but for my own good, as it has given me “due dates” that will help later on in life when I sign contracts.
But about the story. Sure, I planned out the plot and events of the novel, although I am sure it wrote itself when sometimes a sharp turn was taken, in a direction I hadn’t realized, and made the story even better.
There’s more I’d like to write, but you chose to read this future book. So thank you for diving into the adventure I anticipate to publish one day, A Daisy for Hannah Jane. Your comments are reassuring and for those of you who simply read, that means a lot, too. Knowing I have supporters who like my writing is significant to writers’ block and doubt.
Though it isn’t quite finished yet, I hope you have enjoyed this WWI story so far, and that you’ll be encouraged to buy a copy if and when it’s officially published (which may include an epilogue)!
