The Londonderry Lancer football team is standing tall after a 42-13 win over a division rival, the Windham Jaguars. Now at 6-0, with only three regular season games remaining, it looks like the Lancers are destined for a deep playoff run. The scoring began last Saturday with a long Andrew Kullman rush, but things got uncharacteristically bad early for the squad. After countless penalties on the first defensive series, Windham took advantage and threw for one of their two touchdowns on the day. Thanks to an explosive offensive effort from quarterback Drew Heenan and his many offensive weapons, the team was able to pull away for the rest of the game. Heenan finished the day with touchdown passes to Colby Ramshaw (2), Andrew Kullman, and Grady Daron. The other score for the Lancers was a 5 yard run from Riley Boles. Senior captain, Colby Ramshaw, stood out in the win with two touchdowns, a sack, and a blocked extra point. The Lancers take on the Keene Blackbirds on Friday, October 15th.[embedyt] https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BsttgDAHap8[/embedyt]
