The pulling of passes; where to park during town voting

In a weekly announcement released this past Monday, our principal, Rick Barnes, mentioned that the main lot will not be accessible to those even with valid parking passes this coming Tuesday, September 10th. Due to town voting, “The main parking lot will be closed to all student parking in order to accommodate parking for all day voting.” Barnes said. With these changes during the day, there may be questions on how the descent of passes will occur.

Although the main lot will unfortunately be closed, there was mention that anybody with a valid plateau pass will be able to remain, as the adjacent lot will not be needed. However, instead of being allowed to park in the plateau as a substitution, those with their main lot passes will have to relocate to the LAFA Fields or other substitutional parking for the entirety of the day, including parking for afterschool sports.

Sean Cornett has now been on staff for two years. Concluding last year as the Multimedia Editor, he has now taken on the role of Features Executive. He spends his free time hanging with friends or going on side quests, and is currently on the LHS World Championship Robotics Team and skis during the Ski Club.
