Opioid and heroin addiction forum to be held on 1/6

There will be a community forum to address the issues of Opioid and Heroin Addiction in the Londonderry community on Wednesday, January 6. This meeting will be held in the LHS Cafeteria from 7:00 to 8:30 pm. Featured speakers include:

Mr. Jim Gamache, a Londonderry resident and COO of the Westbridge Treatment Center

Pastor Ken Glasier, of the Orchard Christian Fellowship

Superintendent Nate Greenberg, of the Londonderry Schools District

Det. Sgt. Patrick Cheetham, of the Londonderry Police Department

Mr. Kevin Smith, Town Manager

U.S. Senator Kelly Ayotte

The objective of this forum is to provide multiple perspectives on the addiction related issues that affect our community. In this multifaceted approach, each speaker will present on topics of addiction that relate to their fields of expertise. Members of the audience will learn how to identify the signs of addiction, and will be educated on the resources available to persons and families facing addiction. Speakers and members of the audience will discuss what we as a community can do to address drug addiction moving forward.
