Varsity ski team takes a snap before making practice runs down the mountain. These practice runs help warm up these skiers while up on the cold mountain top.

Skiing

Mountain protocols will be followed before any other school protocols while at the mountain for both practices and races.
Practice times will vary on the mountain for practices and races. This will keep them organized and have a chance to keep groups limited to lessen the person to person contact.
Respective distancing is required while waiting for runs and masks must be kept on while on the lift, unless you are riding alone.
Only two parents/guardians, from the home team, will be allowed to attend the races as long as they wear masks.
Students can either take the mini bus to practice as long as they wear a mask, or the students can drive themselves.
If a parent/guardian would like to drive their child or others to and from races, they will need permission from the Athletic Director himself. Everyone in the car will also be expected to wear a mask.

It doesn’t really matter for the ski team it’s all outside and everyone is already wearing face masks or neck gators. We all can thankfully sit next to each other on the lift. While we are skiing we are already spread apart. The only thing that is different is that the lodges aren’t completely open so we have to get ready in our cars,
