    A few members of SNHS and their Advisors, Lisa Fraser and Anthony Cariello, just finished listening to Dr.Smith, leader of the SWUG project. Smith gave a lecture about what the information the students help gather with the magnetometers they build is used for and how it helps predict and monitor space weather.

    Director of School Counseling, Ms. ODea, wants students to believe in themselves and reach goals that they work hard to achieve,” O’Dea said.

    House four counselor, Mr. Papargiris, tries to motivate students to recognize, it’s not just about having that one person that you’re assigned to talk to,” Papargiris said. “But someone you feel comfortable talking to.”

    House three counselor, Mrs. Burkhardt, wants to “get to know students...I want to see them on the days that are more challenging, but I also want to see them on the good days too.”

    House two counselor, Mr. Mitchell, believes that “it’s very important that students have a safe place to go to, to present future ideas,” Mitchell said. “A place to vent, and to discuss things that are on their minds.”

    Joining the Lancer Spirit staff for his first year, Sean Cornett will be the new multimedia editor, aiding in anything involving a camera or a microphone. Behind the camera, Sean has shot anything from mountainous landscapes to action sports. However, in his free time he also enjoys playing his guitar, or escaping to the woods on his bike or skis, weather permitting. Outdoors and adventures aside, he also enjoys robotics and is no stranger to spending hours wrenching on all kinds of things. Whether he is out in the woods or in the shop, Sean will jump at any opportunity to be behind a camera.
