Support Lancer Nation’s fight against cancer by purchasing apparel from Lancers Fight Cancer- 2025. All proceeds go to the New Hampshire Breast Cancer Coalition, a non-profit that provides direct assistance to NH residents battling breast cancer. This year’s merch is available in T-shirts, long sleeves and hoodies.
Digital Learning Specialist Melissa Brayall started the Lancers Fight Cancer fundraiser during her second year in the district. At first, she started designing these shirts for herself and those who worked in the library, but soon after, she opened up the floor to administration and school counseling. Now, this fundraiser has made its way through the district and community.

“There were five of us here in the library, so I was like, ‘Alright, let’s recruit a few more people to get shirts along with us, and then we can order them through [Custom Ink],’” Brayall said.
The Lancers Fight Cancer fundraiser has currently sold 103 items through the website, and has officially beat their goal of 100 orders before the sale ends Sept. 30. There is also a section underneath the order forms and donations where people are encouraged to share their stories as they support LHS and NHBCC.
The shirts and sweatshirts will be available for pickup on Oct. 16 and 17, but this year, students and community members also have the option of getting them mailed to their homes. Reach out to Brayall with any additional questions.
Although all proceeds from this current fundraiser are going to support people with breast cancer, Brayall mentioned ideas of creating different colored clothing and possibly donating to other branches of cancer. Keep an eye out for some new Lancers Fight Cancer merch in the future.
Brayall is not new to customizing shirts. She has a strong love for supporting important causes, and finds that making shirts helps spread awareness. She has been able to express her creative ability of designing clothes for multiple different reasons, one being for her mother, who suffers from multiple sclerosis (MS).
“I also used to be a class adviser,” Brayall said, “so I’ve made a lot of T-shirts through online companies.”
Although she did not originally design the Lancers Fight Cancer merch with the goal of fundraising, all of her knowledge from years of customizing clothing and the supportiveness of LHS is what has made this event perfect for raising awareness and money for people with breast cancer.
“I was like, ‘Well, if we made more shirts for breast cancer and [sold them], maybe then I could donate to charity, that would be kind of cool,’” Brayall said, “and so I just did it.”
