For LHS students with their heads in the clouds, the opportunity to learn about aviation could not be more accessible.
The Aviation Museum of NH in Londonderry is inviting interested students to attend an open house on April 6 from 3PM to 6PM.
Students in attendance may be encouraged to register for a high school course, “Virtual Skies”, through the museum and will explore the fields of aeronautics, navigation, weather, air traffic control, communication, and airport designs. Instructors will provide insight into career opportunities, bring the class on field trips, and introduce guest speakers.
There is no cost for admission to the open house or for enrollment in the academic program. The Aviation Museum is located at 27 Navigator Rd, in Londonderry.
