A message from the Editor-in-Chief

Welcome back returning Lancers, new students, and freshmen.

With the beginning of the school year, the Lancer Spirit staff and myself have set some New [School] Year resolutions.

This could be the first year since the senior class has been alive that the Londonderry Lancers win Mack Plaque. This could be the year we break our already astounding world record for the number of angels to donate their hair at one time. This could be the year we have the highest number of college bound graduates to walk across the Verizon stage in June.

One thing that we, the Lancer Spirit staff, know for sure is that this year will bring the most aesthetically-pleasing, hard-breaking, all-encompassing publication that LHS has yet to see. Both our online forum, lancerspiritonline.com, and our news magazine, The Lancer Spirit Magazine, have been years in the making and underwent intricate reformatting over the summer.

We are excited to, once again, produce a forum for students to inform classmates, share their words, and speak their minds. I personally hope you appreciate the work that this staff of over 50 students put into this publication day in and day out.

Keep your eyes out for the upcoming magazine issues to be released this year:

-Welcome Back Issue

-The Lancer Spirit’s 1st annual Mack Plaque Magazine

-December Issue

-March Issue

-April Issue, The Lancer Spirit Presents: The boys of Mr. LHS

-June Senior Issue

We like to cover the news but we rely on you, Lancer Nation, to make the news.

Make us proud and make our jobs easy,

Shea Robinson, Editor-in-Chief

and The Lancer Spirit Staff

Shea Robinson, Editor-in-Chief, College & Career Editor
As one of three writers in her family, Shea Robinson has gotten into numerous fights about the Oxford comma over the dinner table. She utilizes her passion for proper punctuation (and also alliteration) along with her love for thesauruses partly to keep Lancer Nation informed, but mostly just to feel like she is being useful. Somehow the leadership of the school-wide news publication has been entrusted to her and she will, in fact, let it go to her head. Shea is also the newly appointed Custom Ink Editor, she graciously accepted the unanimous decision made by her peers.
