Making fast and easy mug pancakes

I love pancakes! But I hate having to clean up a big mess, especially when I am low on time. After searching for a way to make pancakes faster, easier, and cleaner, I discovered mug pancakes. They taste the same as pancakes on the stove, but with less of a mess. Its just 2 ingredients and it takes less than 5 minutes to make.  You can also prepare this recipe the night before and microwave it in the morning. Happy Munching!


1/4 cup Bisquick (or any other pancake mix, I just prefer Bisquick)

2 tablespoons of milk

1 tablespoon (Blueberries, Chocolate chips, berries, or other additives) (Optional)


In a microwave safe mug, whisk Bisquick and milk with a small whisk for a few seconds. It’s okay if small lumps remain. Heat in microwave for about 1 minute. Let pancake cool slightly before scooping out of mug and serve with syrup if you choose to. Enjoy!
