Howdy! Ahhh, country music. I love it, and a lot of people hate it. Bash it all you want, but please give each one of these songs a chance. I am not trying to convert you to the countryside; I just want to enlighten you on the wild side.

#10) “Most People are Good” –  Luke Bryan

We are starting this list off with an amazing song. This song was released in Jan. of 2018, and it reached number one on the U.S. Billboard Country Airplay Chart for the week of Mar. 31, 2018. It also peaked at number four on Hot Country Songs on Apr. 28, 2018. As of Aug. of 2018, the song has sold over 309,000 copies in the United States. When I first heard the song, I fell in love with it. The song has such an uplifting message, saying that there is more goodness in the world than negativity.

Favorite Line: “I believe that days go slow and years go fast and every breath is a gift, the first one to the last.”

It was Evans’s first single to be released to country radio in the United States, where it reached the top three on the Billboard Country Airplay and top 20 on the Hot Country Songs charts. The first time I heard it on the radio, I loved it; then, I watched the music video, and it made me love the song even more. It has such a good beat and a message of taking a chance with someone, to get the guts to talk to someone.

Favorite Line: “Sometimes you try to fix somebody / Just to find out they’ll never change / So you go out and meet somebody / That makes you feel the way you thought you’d never feel again.”

The song debuted on the Hot Country Songs chart at number 30 for the week of Aug. 30, 2014.  The song eventually climbed to the number two spot on the Hot Country Songs chart. There is just something about this song that I love. The balance of the beat, as well as the mixture of singing and talking just makes this song so good and unique.
