PTSO celebrates LHS staff with special message and video

The LHS Parent Teacher Student Organization (PTSO) usually celebrates teachers during Staff Appreciation Week by raffling off prizes and sending little surprises to the staff throughout the week.

This year, however, PTSO members had do something different because staff and students aren’t in the building during the Covid-19 quarantine.

Today the LHS staff members received the following message and video from the PTSO:

Happy Friday From Your LHS PTSO!

We hope this email finds you all doing ok during these crazy times.  Almost overnight most of you had to completely change your daily work schedule, lesson plans and/or way of teaching with no playbook to go off! As stressful as this was for everyone you have done an amazing job.

With the school being closed and most of us in quarantine this year certainly proves to be more difficult to celebrate Teacher & Staff Appreciation Week. We know how much you all love our famous raffle and once things return to some level of normalcy we will do our best to make that happen again!!!

In the meantime we were determined to still show you all some love and let you know how much you are appreciated!

So sit back, relax, click on the link below and enjoy the show!

Thank you for all that you have done and continue to do for our children.  We are so proud to be a part of Lancer Nation!!!

Take care and stay safe,
