Due to the pep rally being canceled last Friday, Spirit Week has been extended.
Starting Monday, Feb. 8 until Friday, Feb. 12, LHS will be recognizing Respect Week to raise awareness about teen dating violence.
There will be information around the school about healthy relationships as well as information that can be found on social media.
The goal of the upcoming week is to spread knowledge and awareness to encourage students to reach out to trusted adults if they see or experience dating violence. Teachers and staff are also encouraged to have discussions with students to learn more about how to identify ways you can support the efforts to prevent harassment, abuse, and violence.
Teachers will be given orange ribbons to wear, but everyone should wear orange on Friday, 2/12, to show support.
