Lancer Grid Iron is currently hosting a fundraiser to support Suicide Awareness Month.
Those who are interested in purchasing an “It’s OK To Not Be OK” shirt are able to buy them on Sept. 9 during all lunch periods, along with after-school on Sept. 8 and Sept. 10 in front of the gym. Shirts are $20.
Julie McGrath, sophomore Tyler McGrath’s mom, is currently selling shirts in the lobby until the last lunch period.
According to McGrath, all proceeds that Lancer Grid Iron raises will be “divided in between different organizations that support mental health.”
Students are encouraged to wear their shirts next Friday at the blackout themed varsity football home game against Concord.
