Jaylen Brown recently signed a $285 million contract, but seems to not be able to afford a trip to Turkey for one specific procedure: A hair transplant.
If you are in the NBA and preparing to play against the Boston Celtics, you best bring your grandma’s stain remover with you to the City of Champions, because opposing players have had an unmistakable black ink smeared on their jerseys. The culprit: Jaylen Brown.
The 29-year-old superstar can not come to terms with the fact that men experience hair loss. How do you have a contract worth almost $300 million and still walk onto a basketball court with the top of your head looking like a dull Sharpie?
To make it worse, Brown has had a plethora of embarrassing hairstyles prior to this. As an NBA fanbase, this is where we must draw the line, and preferably not with Brown’s hairline.
Now you may be asking, “why do you care so much about someone’s hair if you do not even know him?” It is because this year, the Celtics organization has already experienced enough problems, like Jayson Tatum’s torn Achilles, Derrick White’s jumpshot, and Chris Boucher being, well, Chris Boucher.
So to not have enough self-pride or dignity to accept balding—or fly to Turkey for a transplant— when you’re the cornerstone of this year’s team,is like having Eeyore lead a wounded army into battle.
Brown needs to own up to his hair loss, and keep Celtics basketball alive. Right now, this organization is relying on Brown to help save face, so he needs to change his ways before it is too late.
