"I convinced my husband (then boyfriend) to go to a rescue dog event in Boston one Sunday afternoon. He thought we were just going to look, but I had other plans. As soon as we got there I laid eyes on Toby (then Enrique). He was the cutest pup I had ever seen and I loved his little dachshund legs. I started getting very jealous when other people would look at him so I decided that we were adopting him. Now he is my number one cuddle buddy and most loyal friend (he kind of thinks everyone is out to get mom so he is VERY protective). Dogs are the best because they really do make you feel better. If I am stressed, sad, or sick, Toby always finds a way to cuddle so close to me. There is also nothing better then coming home to someone who is so happy to see you!"
